WHY SHOULD I EMPLOY AN OUTSIDE COMPANY TO PERFORM AN INVENTORY?

Assessing the condition of a property should be performed by someone independent of the tenant / landlord relationship to ensure fairness and accuracy for both parties.

Our inspectors have years of experience in assessing properties in detail and will often pick up upon the condition of items that may be overlooked by landlords. A professionally produced independent inventory helps reduce the number of potential disputes when dealing with deposit returns and attribution of damage.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR AN INVENTORY?

It is the landlords / property owners responsibility to pay for any inventory services as it forms a vital part of your property maintenance responsibilities. Investing in a thorough professional inventory provides assurance that the condition of your property and its contents is accurately recorded and timestamped.

CAN I RECLAIM DEPOSITS FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED?

​

A detailed inventory report from Vista Inventory provides visual and dated proof of the condition of your property and its contents. Should any damage occur during a tenancy this report can help reduce the likelihood of damage disputes and in the worst case provide evidence should any legal proceedings be required.

CAN I CHANGE MY APPOINTMENT DATE?

If the customer would like to change the date of their appointment, we recommend contacting us at least 48 hours before the arranged time.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY CLEANING APPOINTMENT? IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?​

​

Deposits are non - refundable.

END OF TENANCY CLEANING

DO YOU PROVIDE THE CLEANING MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT?

​

We provide our own cleaning materials and equipment which is composed of top of the range cleaning products and/or equipment. However, because we are flexible, in case you would like us to use your own products, please make sure to let us know in advance.

​

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN AN END OF TENANCY CLEAN?

 

The full list of tasks included in an end of tenancy clean:

 

- Dusting & wiping all surfaces - Cleaning inside cupboards

- Cleaning fridge/freezer and other white goods

- Inside window cleaning

- Bathroom descaling

- Thorough cleaning of baths, toilets & showers

- Vacuuming all flooring - Mopping all hard flooring

You can also request the following extra services if they’re required by your landlord:

​

- Carpet & upholstery cleaning

- Oven cleaning

​

DO I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT?

​

To make our cleaning services more thorough and efficient, we would ask you to pick up items such as toys and clothes before our professional cleaners arrive.

​

DO I HAVE TO BE AT HOME WHEN THE CLEANERS ARRIVE?

​

It is not necessary but we would need access into the property. Usually, most of our customers are not at home in order to minimise distractions so that our cleaners can do a more thorough and efficient clean. Our customers trust us with the key to their property, so if there is a key safe we would need the key safe code, otherwise we would need someone to give us access to the property.

HOW LONG DOES A CLEANING SESSION TAKE?

​

Unfortunately, we are not able to say with certainty because the cleaning sessions length depends on the number of rooms in the property and their condition. We will always do everything in our power to do the cleaning in the most efficient and quickest manner possible.
